Will Grigg has spoken about his future as his loan stint at MK Dons nears completion.
The Northern Ireland international joined the Dons in January after failing to impress at the Stadium of Light but is set to return to Wearside.
Speaking to MKFM, Grigg said: “It’s one of those things, I’ve got another year left at Sunderland and as far as I’m aware at the moment I’ll be going back there in pre-season.
“Football’s a funny game, you never know what’s going to happen, there’s obviously lots of factors to go in if anything’s going to happen, but the support from the fans has been unbelievable from the first day I came back.

Oxford United boss Karl Robinson delivers verdict ahead of final game
Karl Robinson has delivered his verdict on what Oxford United need to focus on ahead of the final fixtures.
The U’s are one point behind sixth-placed Portsmouth and need Danny Cowley’s side to draw or lose against Accrington Stanley to be in with a chance of reaching the play-offs.
He said to the Oxford Mail: “If we’re comfortable and the results are positive, I think the players will want to know.

“You have to win first and foremost, and then worry about other things after that.”
Oxford United forward Matty Taylor added: “In these situations you tend to know the scores due to the crowd and obviously they won’t be there.
“I’m sure if we need a goal or we need to hold we’ll get the message in the latter stages of the game."
