With injuries and suspensions severely reducing Phil Parkinson’s options at the back, it could be something of a makeshift line-up for the Black Cats at the County Ground.
But who could feature in the League One clash? We take a look at the Sunderland side likely to feature in Wiltshire and who could play where as Phil Parkinson is forced to get a bit creative:
1. GK: Lee Burge
A regular in League One this season, Burge looks set to start between the sticks - with Remi Matthews once again forced to play second fiddle. Photo: Frank Reid
2. CB: Jordan Willis
While the Black Cats will be without a number of their usual options at the back, Willis is fit and available. He will more than likely play on the right-hand side of the three. Photo: Frank Reid
3. CB: Bailey Wright
Another key man at the back, Sunderland will have Wright available to feature at the heart of the defence. He could be vital in ensuring whoever starts on his left-side is kept in check, considering they probably won't be a natural in that position. Photo: Frank Reid
4. CB: Conor McLaughlin
Parkinson's options on the left-side of the back three are limited, so we could see McLaughlin handed a first start of the season. He returned from international duty on Thursday, so is available for selection. Photo: Frank Reid
