Sunderland favourite Stephen Elliott has slammed a ‘horrific’ first half performance by the Black Cats with Phil Parkinson’s side trailing 1-0 at the break to Bristol Rovers.
Elliott tweeted: “Why Ethan Robson hasn’t been given even half a chance in this squad seriously baffles me. He’s miles better than other CMs in the squad.
“He will probably never be given a go at #safc to prove me right or wrong, which is criminal. That was a horrific performance 1st half!”
