Metro cancels services in Sunderland and South Tyneside

A number of Metro services have been canceled in Sunderland and South Tyneside today, Saturday, October 3.

Operator Nexus has withdrawn a total of four trains from operation this afternoon and evening.

The company says a lack of drivers is to blame and is urging travellers to allow extra time for their journeys.

The affected services are:
