Sunderland fans turned out in their numbers!

The rain failed to dampen the spirits of the Sunderland faithful who made the journey to Middlesbrough on Friday night.

1,000 Black Cats supporters made the short journey to Teesside in what was the club's final pre-season friendly ahead of the League One campaign kicking-off on Friday.

And despite the game being abandoned at half-time, Sunderland fans still seemed to enjoy their evening at the Riverside Stadium following a promising performance which resulted in a 0-0 draw.
