Rotary Club of Washington supporting children through lockdown with 'vital' donation of iPads and laptops to primary school
The Rotary Club of Washington put out a call to the community for technology that would be able to help pupils with home learning while schools remain closed, and were able to donate a number of iPads and laptops to St Joseph’s RC Primary School.
The equipment will be used to help support pupils who do not have what they need at home at home while the country remains in a nationwide lockdown.

Hide AdDuring the lockdown, The Rotary Club of Washington are doing all the can to support all members of the community.
Rotarian Neil McOnie, said: “Listening to the news, we know the difficulty young kids are having with home learning and especially the ones who don’t have what they need in the house. We put a call out and got in touch with St Joseph’s and they were over the moon to get some vital help.”
The Rotary Club of Washington are continuing to support the community through the pandemic and anyone interested in donating unwanted iPads and laptops can do so at The Cross Keys in Washington, every Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 4pm-6pm.
