Fire crews tackle wheelie bin fire in Sunderland

A crew from Sunderland Central fire station was called to Cairo Street in Hendon shortly before 9pm last night, Sunday, June 16.

The bin was destroyed and the fire had spread to a car port, which was also damaged.

Fire fighters used one hose jet to extinguish the blaze.
